Cook Library invites you to celebrate the freedom to read by attending a Read-Out event.

Cook Library’s Main Lobby

Banned Books Week celebrates intellectual freedom—the freedom to access information and express ideas, even if the information and ideas might be considered unorthodox or unpopular.

  • Come listen as students, faculty and staff read excerpts from banned or challenged books.
