FIXED: Website error

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved. Full access should now be restored.  Thank you for your patience


There is currently an issue with the system that displays our databases, subject gateways, and course gateways on the website.  We are working to resolve this issue.

If you need to use the Library’s databases, please use ResearchPort.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

    I found two problems of Cook Library homepage,
    1st, I was automatically redirected to the mobile version when using Firefox 3.6.12/Ubuntu Linux;
    2nd, The page layout is bad using Chrome brower 8.0.552.28 beta

      To follow-up on these reported problems…

      We are continuously working with our redirect script to increase its accuracy. There was a keyword sent in the user agent info that was causing the redirect to the mobile site. This should be fixed now along with several other false redirects.

      The website is currently compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome (9.0.597.98). We don’t really test for compatibility with beta versions of browsers since those releases are somewhat unstable and subject to change. We do, however, attempt to make the website cross-browser compatible for all of the major browsers.
