Health Care Reform Guide

As the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) moved through Congress to become law on March 23, 2010, it set off a fierce debate in the United States over the role that government should play in health care.  A number of states and other plaintiffs challenged the constitutionality of the law and from March 26-28, 2012, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on three cases related to the law (Department of Health and Human Services v. Florida, National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius, and Florida v. Department of Health and Human Services). This guide created by Librarians Joyce Garczynski, Sara Nixon, and Shana Gass contains resources related to the health care reform law and the subsequent legal challenges.
