The Impact of Humans on Planet Earth
as Seen From Space

Speaker: Dr. Don Thomas, Towson University.

There is little debate that humans are having a huge impact on planet Earth and are responsible for much of the global warming that is now taking place. Using images taken from space by the astronauts over the past 50 years, we will look at changes in the Earth that are directly attributable to human activity and that are visible from over 200 miles above.
