Latino Americans Grant Programming Begins on 9/29!

LatinoAmericans2“Latino Americans: The 500-Year Legacy That Shaped a Nation” Cook Library Book Club

The Cook Library Book Club will discuss “Latino Americans: The 500-Year Legacy That Shaped a Nation” by journalist Ray Suarez. This meeting will begin with Dr. Nicole Fabricant Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice providing background on this book about the rich and varied history of Latino American culture. Then Librarian Sara Arnold-Garza will lead attendees in a discussion about the book.  Light refreshments will be served.

Latino Americans: 500 Years of History has been made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.
