Old Site New Site

On August 9th, some small changes will be made to the library’s website. While these changes are mostly cosmetic, they are the first in a series of changes that we will be making to prepare for a fully redesigned website in the coming months.

Here is a detailed list of the changes:

  • Renamed “Research Databases” to “Databases”

  • Changed tabbed search box from 5 tabs to 2: “Cook OneSearch” and “Library Website and Research Guides will be indexed in Library Website search
  • Helper text is above search box “Search articles, journals, books, media, and more”
  • Changed “powered by Cook OneSearch” to “Advanced Search”

Icons

  • Updated icons from row of links below tabbed search
  • Use teal color and rounded corners to integrate better into the design
  • Use A-Z rather than obscure Database icon
